Morning Walk

Just in case you missed them on my Twitter stream, I'm posting all of my haiku and haiku-like forms here from this morning's walk (did more walking than running today really).  Each of these haiku is a small stone for me!


nibbling on drops of sunlight from a blade of grass... wild rabbit

blowing a song into my opened water bottle... sudden breeze

stretched out in the morning sunlight the amoeba of someone's spit

runner's high
baptized by sprinklers
on the way home

at the traffic light
the honks
of morning geese
